City property and has a zoning that includes a golf <br />course as a permitted use. However, should there <br />be an agreement, that would be subject to public <br />hearings. Judson stated that he has concern with <br />that area remaining as open space. Mohr stated <br />that a golf course and open space are not mutually <br />exclusive. The acreage in that area is <br />approximately 280 acres and golf courses require <br />about 160 acres. Before the City entered into any <br />long term lease or other arrangement, there would <br />be public input. Judson's concerns were related <br />to keeping Louisville "as a small City atmosphere" <br />and has concern regarding major development plans. <br />Ann Meredyth, 950 Spruce, referred to a pedestrian <br />bridge in Cottonwood Park that has been closed for <br />many months. Meredyth asked if it will be fixed <br />and when. Hioco stated that the bridge was <br />damaged by a four-wheel drive vehicle. Public <br />Works reviewed the damages and the bridge can be <br />repaired. Therefore it will be fixed within a <br />week. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS Anderson reported on the Consortium meeting <br />regarding air quality and health care in the <br />County. All information will be copied and given <br />to each Councilmember. There is a proposed <br />Resolution regarding the North St. Vrain that <br />Anderson will present at the next meeting. <br />Mohr reminded staff and Council that there is a <br />Chamber Meeting at Bart's at noon and the feature <br />speaker is STC's Ryal Poppa. Mohr additionally <br />thanked the Louisville Organizations and <br />individuals that successfully participated in the <br />annual 4th of July Picnic and thanked Council for <br />their contribution to having the orchestra at the <br />celebration. <br />Hundley reminded Council of the Work Session on <br />Thursday at 7:30 p.m. regarding the 1987 Budget. <br />ADJOURNMENT Mayor Fauson moved that with no further business <br />the meeting be adjourned.
