brought back to Council at their next meeting
along with bids for the Sewer Interceptor Project.
Responding to a concern of Anderson's relating to
the transferability of taps, Rautenstraus stated
that clearly the tap itself has to run with the
property and does not go with the individual
particularly since this is a document involving
property rights and go with respect to the
property, not the individual.
Lastoka/Harney Anderson moved that the Lastoka/Harney easement
agreement be approved. Szymanski seconded.
Unanimous.
Hamm Mohr moved that the Hamm easement agreement be
approved. Szymanski seconded. Unanimous.
Wood Szymanski moved that the Wood easement agreement
be approved. Mayor Fauson seconded. Approved 6-0
with Anderson abstaining.
Pritschau Mohr moved that the Pritschau easement agreement
be approved. Szymanski seconded. Unanimous.
APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT
URBAN DRAINAGE Phare explained that the City of Louisville is
with the Urban Storm Drainage District and pays a
small mill percentage for storm drainage projects.
This is a proposed agreement for engineering
design services for design of drainageway "D"
detention pond. Drainageway "D" detention pond is
a storm drainage facility located at the southeast
corner of the City's proposed recreation center.
The agreement outlines roles and responsibilities
of the City and the Urban Storm Drainage District
in designing the proposed facility. The main
obligation of the City is to fund 25~ of
engineering costs for design work. Drainageway
"D" serves a good portion of the area north of Via
Appia from Spruce St. to McCaslin Blvd. Continued
development in this area will require improvements
to drainage facilities. The City share of the
agreement has been budgeted in the 1986 CIP under
Storm Sewer.
Szymanski moved that Council approve the agreement
between Urban Storm Drainage District and the City
of Louisville for engineering design services on
Drainageway "D" detention pond. Scarpella
seconded. Unanimous.
7
