1.) <br /> <br />The applicant shall install more mature base planting <br />materials along the east building elevation. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Don Shonkwiler, Homart Development, 400 South McCaslin, Louisville, <br />Colorado, introduced Mr. Dorian Fortney, Castillo Company, the <br />developer for the project and Marilyn Drury, a State Farm <br />Representative. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Howard wondered what the computed light spillage onto McCaslin was. <br /> <br />Dorian Fortney, Castillo Company, 2345 East University, Phoenix, <br />Arizona, representing State Farm Insurance, stated that it was <br />designed to use shielded fixtures to avoid any spillage off-site. <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, didn't feel light spillage would <br />be detrimental, because it would cast light onto the roadway and <br />sidewalk for security and visibility, particularly since there is <br />no residential across the street. <br /> <br />Ho%,ard wondered how high the berm would be. <br /> <br />Shonkwiler: <br /> <br />Looking at the grading plan, it <br />appears that the berm would be up to <br />3' high with planting on top. <br /> <br />Hornbostel wondered about the building identification signs. <br /> <br />Fortney stated that there are identification signs on three sides <br />of the building, 4' x 9' maximum, low profile, lighted from the <br />ground 24 hours/day. The sign on the building will be <br />approximately 3' x 10'. <br /> <br />Davidson called for further Council questions. <br /> <br />NO~rE <br /> <br />Ho%,ard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 3, Series 1994, <br />final PUD Development Plan for State Farm Mutual Automobile <br />Insurance Company, as amended with the recommendation from the <br />Planning Commission. Seconded by Mayer.
