Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk, read the appropriate executive session <br />statement (SEE ATTACHED). <br /> <br />Ail in favor with Hedding being absent. <br /> <br />ADJOURNED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />RETURNED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Davidson called the meeting back to order. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved, after consideration of the value and strategy <br />discussions, that Council authorize the negotiating team of <br />himself, and the City Administrator, along with the City Attorney <br />to proceed along the lines of the strategy that had been discussed, <br />and try to reach a contract on the particular piece of land. <br />Seconded by Hornbostel. <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated for clarification that there <br />were no votes taken in the executive session and any agreement that <br />might be developed by the negotiators, working with the City <br />Attorney, would be coming back to the City Council for approval. <br /> <br />Ail in favor with Hedding being absent. <br /> <br />OT~R REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for other regular business items arising after <br />preparation of the agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Annette Brand, City Administrator, stated that Councilman Howard <br />had[ asked about information about Tax Implement Financing. Brand <br />passed out information from Forest Cason. She reminded Council <br />that on Monday, January 10, 1994, there would be the Organizational <br />Council meeting and swearing in of the new Councilmembers, with a <br />reception. There will be a Work Session, Wednesday, January 12, <br />19~.4.
