Davidson moved that Council approve the Consent Agenda. by Howard. All in favor with Hedding being absent. Seconded APPROVAL OF MINUTES (12/9/93 & 12/21/93) APPROVAL OF BITJ~ AW~d~D BID - SUBMERSIBLE WASTEWATERPUMPS AW~D BID - LOUISVILLE CEMETERY GRAVE DIGGING SERVICES APPROVE SETmCTION OF HARTRONFTASSOCIATES, P.C., TO PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL ANDENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THELOUISVILLEPUBLIC LIBRARY EXPANSION PROJECT AND APPROVE THE SCOPE OF PRELIMINARY WORK PUBLIC COMMENTS - ON ITEMS NoT ON THE AGENDA Davidson called for anyone in the audience wishing to speak on any items not on the Agenda. NOSrE COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Davidson called for any Council informational items. NONE REGULAR BUSINESS ST~.'~.ET LIGHTS ON MCCASLIN Mayer stated that he and Howard had been contacted by several residents, whose homes border along McCaslin, with their concerns about the excessive lighting spilling onto their property. Dan Blankenship, City Engineer, proposed that the project be delayed fora couple of weeks, with there being no cost to Homart or to the City. During this time solutions would be researched. Howard stated that the citizens felt that by continuing placement of the lighting without any additional regard to the aesthetics and the lighting needs of the area would be a disservice. They wanted their input into the situation. He wanted Council to suggest that the Homart Corporation ask Public Service Company to suspend the current activities for a two week period and work with City staff to come up with the best mix of lighting to meet all of the needs. Davidson: Is that a motion? Howard: It's a motion. Lathrop offered a friendly amendment that Homart Development not be held responsible for any delays that may occur, if this project is delayed on Public Service Company's schedule. 2
