Sis.k: <br /> <br />Are you recommending in the form of <br />a motion? <br /> <br />Howard: <br /> <br />That's a motion. <br /> <br />Mayer seconded. <br /> <br />Lathrop asked Mr. Griffin, General Manager, Scripps Howard, if <br />there was any reason that these standards should not be adopted. <br /> <br />Gri ffin: <br /> <br />There is no compelling reason why <br />the City should not adopt these <br />standards. These standards were set <br />forth by the National Cable <br />Television Association several years <br />ago. <br /> <br />Sis.k requested that Scripps Howard provide, within the 90 days, <br />those standards that exceed the Federal guidelines that other <br />co~unities are negotiating for. <br /> <br />Griffin agreed. <br /> <br />Davidson called for further Council questions or comments. <br /> <br />NOS'E <br /> <br />Roll was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />RES:OLUTION NO. 36, SERIES 1993 - MANAGEMENT OF GROWTH AND <br />DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND THE PLANNING AREA OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Davidson stated that the City had received approximately 338 <br />res.ponses to Resolution No. 36 that had been sent out to each <br />res. ident of Louisville asking for their responses. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Rem: Renfrew, 172 Cherrywood, Louisville, Colorado, stated that the <br />Special Review Use allows just about any use to occur on any parcel <br />of land subject to Council or Planning Department approval. He <br />felt that SRU give a lot more latitude than ought to be given. He <br />stated that three or four gas stations are vying for approval on <br />McCaslin, which he felt was too many. He felt there should be a <br />sck.eme to corridors: McCaslin, the 96th Street exchange. He <br />su?gested that in a growth plan, Louisville should come up with a <br />mas.ter plan of how the growth will occur, as compared to zoning <br />that exists or Special Review Use. <br /> <br />JoAnne Fedor, 122 Springs Cove, Louisville, Colorado, stated that <br />th~:y were told by the builder when they moved here that nothing <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
