Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 15, 2003 <br />Page 14 of 14 <br /> <br />· StorageTek - Staff conducted a pre-application meeting with STK regarding a <br /> potential annexation and zoning application for the South Sub-Area. <br />· Community Impact Fee - Not included in the 2003 Capital Projects budget. <br /> Meeting with the development community April 29, at noon, in Council <br /> Chambers. The targeted date for the adoption of the ordinance is July. <br />· Balfour Retirement Community - BalFour requests revisions to the City's fees on <br /> senior housing. Staff would prepare an ordinance modifying fees on such housing, <br /> and schedule a work session for Council discussion. <br />· Memory_ Square Park - has been reseeded. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Sisk asked for an update on the Library. Simmons stated the City has received input <br />from the Library Board and is currently on draft #6 of the survey. He noted several <br />changes have been made since the initial draft. Draft #6 and other changes have been <br />emailed to City Council. Simmons asked Council to review the draft of the survey and <br />stated the Library Director will meet with the Library Board for any additional changes. <br /> <br />Brown asked for an update on the St. Andrews Lane right-turn. Simmons reported Staff <br />has received email from various citizens, some who work nights, or do carpooling for <br />students. He stated the goal is to get traffic out of the neighborhood and noted there has <br />been discussion relative to a no-right turn sign. Mayor Davidson suggests a neighborhood <br />meeting to discuss the issues. Simmons expressed his desire to have the police <br />department continue to enforce no-right tums. <br /> <br />Sisk asked Public Works Director Phare if the longer turning light has helped the <br />congestion in the intersection. Phare stated traffic is moving faster with the additional 40 <br />seconds added to the turning light. He noted the total turning signal is almost 2 minutes. <br /> <br />Simmons stated a traffic survey was conducted on the intersection of Polk and Dahlia. <br />The results of the survey have been received and will be presented to Council. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> ~~::$~ moved for adjournment (10:16 p.m.), seconded by Levihn.
