LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 2, 1985 The City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Meier called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were present: Councilmembers: Rick Luce, Susan Morris, Herm Fauson, Betty Johnson, John Leary and Michael Cussen Staff present: Terry Hundley, City Administrator Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney John Rupp, Director of Community Development Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety Absent: August Hioco, Director of Community Services Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA Mayor Meier called for requests of items to be removed from the Consent Agenda. None. Meier moved that the consent agenda be adopted. It was seconded and the motion carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF THE REGULAR AGENDA Luce asked that an item be added to the regular agenda. Mayor advised Luce that the agenda had already been adopted and approved as part of the consent agenda but allowed Luce to add to Item #9F, the response from Councilman Fauson. regarding previous allegations. Fauson responded that he would "not make a response tonight. My response has already been stated in the press. I could give several other reasons and I think that all that would do is create a debate. I think that we have more than sufficient amount: of work to do tonight without getting into this; and being political and getting into personalities." Luce: "Point of order, Mr. Mayor, the item under discussion here is putting it on the agenda, not dealing with that: agenda item at the moment." Luce moved and Morris seconded that this item be added to the regular agenda. Motion carried 6-1, Fauson voting no„ City Administrator Hundley asked that Item #11A, Design Contract i~or the Louisville City Shops, be deleted and postponed until the next council 1
