February 13th - 9:00 a.m. Review of draft by the Study Committee February 20th - 7/7:30 p.m. Public Hearing and PRC presentation of report to t:he public (invitations are forthcoming from PRC.) February 27th - 9:00 a.m. Review and summary of Public Hearing and comments. The final Report will be completed by March 1985 for distribution. Council expressed concerns with receiving information in time to analyze the results as there has been an abundant amount of time and money expended in participating in the study. The time period that Council has to react on this study is insuff_Lcient and the public also would have little timE~ to digest the information and react at the Publ_Lc Hearing. Rupp suggested that at the February 20th meeting, they continue the Public Hearing date to review findings. Mayor Meier moved that the Public Hearing set for February 20, 1985,, for the U.S. 36 Study be either continued or po;;tponed if information is not received by Council and the public in time for assessment prior t:o the hearing. Leary seconded, and the motion was passed unanimously. Fauson asked that: the Planning Commission respond giving their evaluation of the proposal if they receive information by their February 12, 1985, regular meeting. BROOMFIELD ANNEXATION Hundley met with the Broomfield planning consultant charged with developing the Master Plan update for they annexed territory south of Louisville. Hundley also met with Broomfield City Manager, George DeCiero, who suggested that as soon as the draft: comprehensive plan update for this area is complete the respective City Council members could meet and discuss the issues related to this annexation.. WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS Hundley related to Council some problems with the work at the facility that have now been identified and are being corrected by the contractor. A warranty has been requested from the contractor to guarantee that the remedial measures being taken 6
