Staff was
asked to report back to Council as to the exact
fund that the money would be deposited from this
annexation agreement. The City's Comprehensive
Plan calls for a fund to be established with
monies from annexation agreements.
Mayor Meier closed the Public Hearing and moved
that Ordinance #853 be adopted. Cussen seconded
and the motion was approved unanimously by roll
call.
ORDINANCE #854
WINCHER ZONING
PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read Ordinance #854," An Ordinance
Amending Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code
of the City of Louisville Entitled "Zoning" by
Zoning Property of Approximately 9.9 Acres of
Property Owned by John and Mary Wincher, Annexed
to the City of Louisville by Ordinance No. 853."
Rautenstraus stated that proper publication of the
ordinance and notice of Public Hearing occurred in
the Louisville Times.
Appell reviewed the ordinance for Council
indicating that this is the first Business Office
Zone that has come before staff. Stressed within
this zone was "compatibility with residential area
and no commercial uses more than 20~ of the gross
square footage." Both of these requirements have
been met within this 9.9 acres.
