By July 1, 1985, a Special Improvement District <br />would be initiated and improvements begin by late <br />summer on Cannon St:reet. <br />Lockett Brown, ttre owner of Cybermedic and the <br />lessor, spoke with Rautenstraus on this date and <br />related his willingness to contribute to the <br />paving of the parking lot on which Precision <br />Automotive will occupy. He would work out details <br />with the lessee but would want to wait for the <br />Cannon Street improvements before engaging in the <br />paving. <br />Rautenstraus was directed by Mayor and Council to <br />seek an agreement: with both Mr. Brown and Mr, <br />Kreager that would provide .for paving at some <br />specific point in time. <br />Mayor Meier moved that Resolution #5 be approved <br />on the condition that an appropriate Special <br />Review Use Agreement be signed dealing with the <br />paving of the parking lot and partial screening <br />between said lot and residential area. Cussen <br />seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. <br />SPECIAL ELECTION <br />ANNEXATION VOTE rlorris suggested that Council invite the LDC and <br />Chamber of Commerce to a Study Session to try to <br />establish and achieve common goals for the <br />community. Hundley will arrange meetings <br />beginning in April. <br />Hundley will be meeting with Carolyn Holmberg from <br />Boulder County and Mike Acimovic, Lafayette City <br />Manager, with regard to the Tri-government Open <br />Space Agreement. He will have an update for <br />Council on their respective positions within the <br />next week to 10 days regarding the outcome of the <br />rneeting. <br />Hundley was also directed to update Council as to <br />what specific commercial developments are being <br />pursued by Homart and NlcStain and provide a time <br />table for each. <br />UPDATE OF ANNEXATION <br />OF RESIDENTIAL POLICY Jon Proudy of West Spruce Street asked to address <br />Council with regard to the City's policy on <br />annexing enclaves within the City limits. Mr. <br />Proudy represents an enclave on West Spruce Street <br />of approximately 10 acres. He requested a year <br />ago that this property be annexed to the City. <br />The request was denied at that time with the <br />understanding that this policy would be reviewed <br />at the end of one year.
