Appointment to Criminal Justice Advisory <br />Committee - Boulder County <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS None. <br />ORDINANCE #860 - ACME TERRACE <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION - <br />PUBLIC HEARING The Planning Commission approved the vacation of a <br />portion of the abandoned railroad right-of-way <br />between Front Street and Main Street. According <br />to Wanush, the Commission recommended that Council <br />approve the vacation but only to the east line of <br />the north/south al]Ley to prevent the creation of a <br />dead end alley. The Commission also conditioned <br />their approval of the Acme Terrace Subdivision <br />upon Council's approval of this vacation. <br />Ray Sears, 409 Lois Drive, representative for the <br />applicant, further clarified the request. The ROW <br />will be split in half with 30' going to each of <br />the two lots on either side of the ROW. Sears has <br />a contract on the parcel of land in question to <br />develop but is contingent upon approval of this <br />ROW vacation. <br />George Codran an adjacent property owner asked if <br />this vacation would affect the property directly <br />behind his house. He was advised that it would <br />not and that he a]Lso could apply for a similar <br />vacation should he so desire. <br />Mayor Meier closed the Public Hearing. Morris <br />moved that Ordinance #860 be approved. Fauson <br />seconded and by role call, Ordinance #860 was <br />approved unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION #15 <br />APPROVAL OF ACME <br />TERRACE SUBDIVISION Rautenstraus read .in its entirety Resolution #15, <br />"A Resolution approving final subdivision plat for <br />Acme Terrace Subdivision." <br />According to Wanush, the Planning Commission <br />approved the Acme Terrace Senior Housing <br />Subdivision with the following conditions: 1) the <br />units be restricted to senior citizens, 2) the <br />2 <br />
