Morris stated that there was some controversy when
Neodata built its first facility on So. Boulder
Road in Louisville. Morris, at that time, was
concerned over the "appropriateness of Neodata to
the zoning." However, "they lived up to all of
their commitments and they did a beautiful job."
"I would be very pleased to support John's
resolution." "They are the type of corporation we
would like to have in Louisville."
Resolution #25 passed unanimously.
Mayor Meier requested staff contact Neodata and
inform them of Council's desire to meet with them
to discuss any concern they may have and encourage
them to locate in Louisville. Hundley informed
Council that he has met with the president of
Neodata and related the City's interest and
support and will raow send him a copy of Resolution
#25 with an invitation to meet with Council to
discuss the projec:t further.
APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS -
APPOINTMENT TO HOUSING AUTHORITY
Morris asked that this item be moved to Regular
Business to discuss interviews of applicants.
The Housing Authority Board has two vacancies and
one application. Mayor Meier appointed Joe Dawson
to the Housing Authority Board with the term
expiring January, 1987. Mayor Meier asked that
the second vacancy be re-advertised.
October 10th was the date set to interview the
three applicants for the Board of Adjustments and
Appeals. Notices will be sent to the applicants.
Hundley suggested that on this same date Council
conduct its evaluation of the City Administrator.
LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION -
UNIONJACK LIQUORS - Application for a retail liquor store at 1160 So.
SET PUBLIC HEARING Boulder Road was received in the City Clerk's
office on September 25th.
Mayor Meier asked that this item be put on the
Regular Business Agenda to discuss the
application. It has been suggested that a
discount liquor store could have a great impact on
the present liquor stores in Louisville. Mayor
Meier asked staff if there was criteria available
on which to evaluate an impact of this nature.
5
