Hundley further stated that the Boulder County <br />Treasurer's office indicated that the City would <br />be receiving another $32,000 as a result of sale <br />of personal property recently undertaken by <br />Storage Tech. The results of both of these <br />actions would result in nearly $97,000 in revenue <br />of the $152,000 that is due and payable to the <br />City of Louisville. <br />Hundley and Rautenstraus recommend that Council <br />approve the stipulation and go before the <br />Bankruptcy Court Friday morning for approval. <br />According to Hundley, this will enable the City to <br />fill vacancy positions - two police positions and <br />one Community Services position. There is also <br />one mechanic's position to be filled. <br />Mayor Meier moved that Council approve the <br />stipulation from Storage Tech. Leary seconded. <br />Unanimous. <br />SCRIPPS HOWARD NEGOTIATIONS <br />WITH LAFAYETTE <br />Mayor Meier stated that he felt the City of <br />Louisville was not being properly informed as to <br />negotiations between the City of Lafayette and <br />Scripps Howard Cable Company and asked staff to <br />research the issue to be sure Louisville is being <br />served properly and without jeopardizing <br />Louisville's service. <br />W-470 ARTICLE IN THE <br />ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS Mayor Meier took exception to a recent article in <br />the Rocky Mountain News concerning the W-470 <br />issue. The article quoted Ms. Jourgensen, Deputy <br />Mayor of the City Boulder, regarding Louisville's <br />ability to deal with massive growth. Mayor Meier <br />will be drafting a letter to Jourgensen. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS Johnson asked for an update on Bill Suitts.
