APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED CDOT FIVE YEAR STIP
AUTHORIZATION TO PROCURE BIDS ON RECREATION CENTER POOL EXPANSION
AUTHORIZATION TO PROCURE BIDS ON TRAILS SEEDING PROJECT
AUTHORIZATION TO PROCURE BIDS ON TREE PLANTING

PUBLIC COMMENTS - ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA

William Cummings, 977 Arapahoe Circle, Louisville, Colorado, felt
they had lost their privacy in their back yard because of the newly
installed lights on McCaslin. He felt the lights were a waste of
taxpayers money.

Davidson suggested he call the Public Works Department to discuss
the reasons for the street lights, their wattage, etc. If there
was still a problem, he suggested Cummings talk to Council again.

Kate McCoy, 977 Arapahoe Circle, Louisville, Colorado, had
Cummings' same concerns. She had talked to Public Works and was
told the lights were for safety. She was upset that the whole
house had an orange glow in it. She liked the lights at each
intersection, but felt the others were excessive. She wanted to
enjoy the night sky.

Davidson explained that they are lowering the wattage of the
lights.

REQUEST FOR MODIFICATIONS TO LANDSCAPE PLAN; CENTENNIAL APARTMENTS,
RANDY G. NICHOLS, THE NICHOLS PARTNERSHIP, INC.

Randy Nichols, The Nichols Partnership, Inc., 6118 Old Brompton
Road, Boulder, Colorado, a development partner in the Centennial
Apartment complex on McCaslin and Dillon Road, requested discussion
of the their landscape plan. A landscape intent plan was
originally presented in August 1993. They have since had a
landscape architect review the plan and he found some significant
flaws, such as being over-planted to the extent that it will cause
tree die-off, excessive water usage, and the entire site will be in
shade so there will be no green grass or open space, if all of the
trees shown on their site. They had presented the new landscape
plan to staff who deferred it to Council. He asked to get on an
upcoming Agenda.

Davidson told Nichols to contact his Councilpersons from Ward II to
be put on the Agenda.

Davidson called for anyone else wanting to speak on any items not
on the Agenda.

NONE
