Chris Miller, Assistant to the City Administrator, stated that Greg
Griffin, General Manager of Scripps Howard was present to answer
any questions.

Tanoue stated that on page 4, section 2.4, City Attorney Susan
Griffiths had suggested a few clarifications that need to be made:
adding the words "equipment and installation charges" in a number
of locations in that paragraph.

Greg Griffin, General Manager, Scripps Howard Cable, stated that in
their submittal it was understood that SHC's actual rate was $9.00,
their permanent rate was $8.47. The $8.47 rate changed about three
times during the course of the rate setting process. They intend
to fully comply with the letter of the rate order, but they did
reserve the right to challenge some of the language contained
within the order. Griffin wanted to meet again with City staff and
attorneys to clarify certain issues of the rate order letter that
he had just received.

Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to
speak on the reduction of basic tier cable television rates.

NONE

Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments
or questions.

Tanoue read Section 2.4 as it should read in the final order (SEE
ATTACHED). There will be a credit taken by Scripps Howard to
appropriately reflect the rate reductions and refunds.

Davidson noted that Councilman Sisk had arrived at the meeting.

Sisk wondered if there were any other charges that aren't listed in
the Ordinance.

Griffin explained that this rate order includes all regulated
charges. This information had been pulled from the 393 form, the
FCC form used to determine permanent rates for equipment,
installations, and the basic service tier.

Mayer moved that Council approve the order to reduce the basic tier
cable television rates presently charged by Scripps Howard as
provided in the documentation, as modified by the City Attorney.
Seconded by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by 6 - 0
vote with Keany being absent.

RESOLUTION NO. 24, SERIES 1994 - EASTCOR - CENTURY OFFICE PARK -
FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT LOTS 1 - 3, FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
LOT 2 (CHILDREN'S WORLD)
