CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> June 15, 2016 <br /> APPLICANT: Terry Nelson, 2252 Crown Cricle <br /> OWNER: Same <br /> STAFF PLANNER: Scott Robinson, Planner II <br /> LOCATION: 2252 Crown Circle, Lot 146, Louisville North 1 <br /> ZONING: Residential Estate (RE) <br /> REQUEST: Case #16-019-VA — Request for a variance from Section <br /> 17.12.040 of the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) for relief from <br /> front and side setback and maximum lot coverage requirements <br /> to allow additions to the garage and second story. <br /> SUMMARY OF PROPOSAL: <br /> The applicant, Terry Nelson, requests variances to allow for additions to the sides and rear <br /> of the existing split-level home and a new back deck. The proposed changes would <br /> maintain the existing non-conforming front setback of 27 feet, reduce the north side <br /> setback from 10 feet to 9.5 feet and increase the lot coverage from 15% to 21.6%. The <br /> house is located at 2252 Crown Circle in the Louisville North 1 subdivision and is zoned <br /> Residential Estate (RE).
