Approve May 25th, 2016 Meeting Minutes — Minutes were approved <br /> Ill. Approval of Agenda - agenda approved <br /> IV. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda - None <br /> V. Chair's Update —The focus tonight will be firming up design concepts, cost <br /> estimates and the project scope. Last week, City Council directed staff toward a <br /> property tax for the capital portion and a sales tax for Operations and <br /> Maintenance on the ballot questions. Council supported a 25 years bond and <br /> continued reinvestment in the facility with capital funds currently allocated to the <br /> center each year ($125,000). <br /> The school district remains unable to contribute to the project for a dive well to <br /> accommodate high school diving. <br /> There was not an update on the Historic Preservation tax from City Council, as it <br /> was not on the agenda last week so could not be discussed. <br /> VII. Subcommittee Updates —The CIP portion of O&M was discussed. Using the <br /> GreenPlay packet the subcommittee has adjusted the cost down from $750,000 <br /> per year to $500,000 per year for supporting Operations and Maintenance.
