Call to order: Commission Chair Dan Mellish called the meeting to order at 6:36 <br /> pm. <br /> II. Roll call & introduction of Louisville History Foundation directors in attendance: <br /> Commission Members Present: Dan Mellish, Gordon Madonna, Lynn Koglin, Betty <br /> Scarpella, Paula Elrod, and Jon Ferris <br /> Commission Members Absent:Julie VanLaanen <br /> City Representatives Present: <br /> Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator <br /> Beth Barrett, Director of Library and Museum Services <br /> Jay Keany, City Council liaison <br /> Other Individuals Present: <br /> Missy Diehl, Louisville History Foundation Chair <br /> Marilyn Hunt, Louisville History Foundation Director <br /> Ill. Approval of agenda: Members approved the agenda. <br /> IV. Public comments: Scott Simkus from Seeds Collaborative talked to the <br /> Commission about his interest in saving the Hecla Casino building by moving the <br /> building to a new location before it is slated for demolition in September. Scott <br /> proposed collaborating with the City of Louisville, University of Colorado, and <br /> Colorado School of Mines to raise the funds to move the building to one of three <br /> locations that he is looking at. <br /> V.
