Overall,
Louisville employees were happy with the quality of work produced by their work group as well as
the collaboration inside and outside of their work group.
Statements receiving the highest percentage of agreement were: "The overall quality of the work
being done in my group is high" (87%agreed), "I am a valued member of my work group" (86%),
"How hard I work makes a big difference in the success of the City of Louisville" (84%), "My
department works well with other departments" (82%),and"I have good friends at work" (80%).
Research has shown that employees who report having friends at work are more likely to stay in
their job. (Thackray,J.,Feedback for Real, The Gallup Management Journal,2001.)Appendix A:Results
Tables provides more detail about these results.
Some employees believed that favoritism was a problem in their work group. Two in five
respondents felt this was true in their work group.
C
rr
a
U
-.
OI
rry
.
0
Cd
z
8
DRAFT Report of Results
14
