REQUEST FOR STREET CLOSURE AND PERMIT FOR LIVE MUSIC ON SUNDAY,
JULY 3, 1994, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 10:00 P.M. - PUBLIC HEARING

Davidson called for staffs presentation.

NONE

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Nancy Armstrong, 813 West Mulberry Street, Louisville, Colorado, explained that this was a
neighborhood party involving Mulberry Street and Crestview Court residents on Crestview Court.
She stated that the live band will cease playing at 8:00 p.m. They sent a letter to the Police
Department and Public Works and had petitions signed by the neighbors.

Howard moved that Council approve the street closure and permit for live music on Sunday, July 3,
1994. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor.

DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - ANNEXATION LETTER OF INTEREST - SCOTT LYNN

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this is a 4.97 acre parcel located west of McCaslin. He
explained that this needed to be annexed through incremental approval of three ordinances, which
would establish incremental contiguity from the original frontage of approximately 40' on 80th. The
applicant requested P~-RR zoning. Subsequent to approval, the applicant would go through a Special
l~eview Use for the private horse stables on the property.

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Bob West, OZ Architecture, 2336 Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado 80302, was available to answer
any questions. They considered researching out-of-city services for water for the property.

Davidson called for Council questions or comments.

Mayer wondered if there was a structure on the property, since there is a 400' well.

West: No. There is a well.

Mayer stated that, as long as the 80th Street issue was taken care of, he would have no problem with
the annexation.

Lathrop felt that properties on the Mesa being served by city services should be annexed into the city.
Keany wondered how large the home would be.
