All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1155, SERIES 1994 - CONCERNING WATER TAP AND CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FEES - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 7/5/94 <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1155, Series 1994, "An ordinance concerning water tap and <br />capital improvement fees." <br /> <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, acting City Administrator, explained that the ordinance states that the two <br />Homart recovery fees, the $450 recovery fees for water and major thoroughfare, will continue to be <br />in effect after the city has paid all recovery fees due to the Homart Corporation. She estimated that <br />the water recovery fees would be paid to Homart by July 1994 and the major thoroughfare recovery <br />fees by July 1995. This was previously discussed at the April 22 Work Session and at the June 1, <br />1994, Council Goal Session. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1155, Series 1994, at first reading and set a public <br />hearing for July 5, 1994. Seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1156, SERIES 1994 - CLARIFYING WATER AND SEWER RATES AND <br />CHANGES - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 7/5/94 <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1156, Series 1994, "An ordinance clarifying water and sewer <br />rates and charges." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this ordinance clarifies any vague or confusing terminology <br />for calculating the applicable tap fees and usage rates. The $5.00 inspection fee that is currently <br />added to the residential sewer tap fee has been incorporated into the Municipal Code for clarification <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1156, Series 1994, place out for publication and <br />set a public hearing for July 5, 1994.
