City <br />Om Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1882 <br />Board of Adjustment <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 17, 2016 <br />City Hall, Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order: Meseck called the meeting to order at 6:33 PM. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Andrew Meseck, Chair <br />Gunnar Malmquist <br />Leslie Ewy <br />Lowell Campbell <br />Board Members Absent: James Stuart <br />homas DeJong <br />Staff Members Present: cott Robinson, Planner II <br />Susie Minutes Secretary <br />Approval of Agenda: <br />Ewy made a motion to approve the August; 20 . -'ge .:: prepared by Staff and <br />Malmquist seconded the motion. Motion passed by voice vote. <br />Approval of Minutes: <br />Campbell made a motion to approve the June 15, 2016 minutes and July 20, 2016 minutes and <br />Ewy seconded the motion. Motion passed by voice vote. <br />Public Comments on Items not on the Agenda: None <br />Regular Business: <br />➢ 940 Caledonia St — Variance Request — A request for a variance from Section <br />17.12.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) for relief from front and rear setback <br />and maximum floor area requirements to allow additions to the existing house. Case <br />#16 -022 -VA <br />• Applicant & Owner: Gary Doty, 940 Caledonia St <br />• Case Manager: Scott Robinson, Planner II <br />Meseck reviewed the procedures for the meeting; opened the public hearing; and stated there <br />are six criteria which must be met for the board to approve a variance request. Meseck then <br />stated copies of the criteria are located on the table next to entryway. He asked for verification <br />of proper public notice. <br />Robinson verified the application was originally noticed for the July 20, 2016 meeting. It was <br />posted in City Hall, Public Library, Rec Center, Courts and Police building and was mailed to <br />surrounding property owners on July 1, 2016, and published in the Boulder Daily Camera on <br />City of Louisville <br />Department of Planning and Building Safety <br />749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4592 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.louisvilleco.gov <br />
