City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />August 23, 2016 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />Overall, Mayor Muckle likes the Sustainability Action Plan. If the plan is passed, <br />the City could start telling the story of what we have achieved so far. <br />Council member Stolzmann would be in favor of bringing it to a Council meeting <br />and voting for adoption. She has reservations about a staff person. Discussion of <br />funding a position took place. <br />Council member Loo said the Plan is very friendly and she thanked the Board for <br />their effort. She feels it is a document the community can work with. <br />Council member Lipton said there doesn't always have to be an ROI, sometimes <br />there can be a good balance and it is good for the community. <br />Council member Leh suggests there will need to be a lot of dialogue to convince <br />people to place priority on the Plan. <br />Council member Lipton said Council asked for an aspirational document and that <br />is what LSAB delivered.
