2. Bob Junior — first communion photo taken at St. Louis Church in the <br />1940s. It is believed to show Marion Dionigi Junior among the children. <br />3. Barbara Hesson — items including documents relating to the service of <br />her husband, William Hesson, as City Treasurer from 1969 to 2004. <br />4. Leo Deborski — mine safety first aid kit and documents and pay <br />statements from the Pitchford family. <br />5. Roy Elliott — documents relating to Louisville, including photos and <br />Louisville High School programs, certificates, and school newspaper. <br />6. David W. Ferguson — items relating to Louisville including <br />promotional brochure & map from 1959-60 and school items from <br />him and his wife, Dorothy Ferguson, including handwritten <br />schoolwork. <br />B. Advice sought on donations of other artifacts being offered: No advice sought <br />on donations this month. <br />C. Additional updates: Bridget reported that she gave a program on Louisville <br />downtown signs on Thursday September 15t and was recorded for channel 8. <br />Bridget will also be interviewing Ed Helmstead who has painted several signs <br />on Main Street and Front Street for a program on September 215t. Also, Bridget <br />will be attending a museum conference from September 14th through the 17th <br />VII. Chairperson's Report: Commission Chair Dan Mellish reported the Lynn Koglin has <br />resigned from the Historical Commission, and thanked Lynn for his years of service. Also, <br />the Commission was informed of the Mayor's Community Update piece talking about <br />the services offered by the Historical Museum. <br />VIII. Review & approval of City Council Communication for Study Session with City <br />Council to discuss Museum Master Plan (Sept. 13th, 7 PM, Library Meeting Room) <br />& discussion regarding planning for the presentation: The Commission looked over and <br />discussed the three parts to the presentation for the City Council Study Session: the City <br />Council communication memo, the Museum Master Plan and the PowerPoint <br />presentation. The Museum Master Plan has already been approved in the last Historical <br />Commission meeting and the memo is an outline of the PowerPoint presentation. The <br />Commission went over the presentation and discussed key points to convey to the City <br />Council. The purpose of the presentation is to get feedback from the City Council on the <br />Master Plan and the next steps to more forward for the Museum. The Commission <br />approved the Master Plan, presentation and City Council Communication for the <br />upcoming Study session. <br />IX. Review and approval of draft proposal to HPC on possible percentage for Museum <br />operations & maintenance in Historic Preservation Tax extension (to be discussed at <br />2 <br />
