Library Foundation Liaison Report (R. Gurganus)
Renee reported the following:
• The Foundation was very enthusiastic about the Born to Read program and
discussed various aspects of the program.
• Teen Librarian Jessica Hilbun Schwartz attended the meeting and talked about the
teen programs that are funded by the Foundation.
• Book sale funds have been declining, so Foundation members agreed that they
need to be more involved in keeping the book sale shelves stocked and organized.
• The Foundation has created some specialized letters for large donors.
• The Foundation received a donation from a child who had participated in the Read
to Rover program at the Library, which is funded by the Foundation.
