PUBLIC COMMENTS Davidson called for comments from the audience on any items not listed on the agenda. NONE REGULAR BUSINESS PRESENTATION - HOMART CONTRIBUTION TO D.A.R.E. - DON SHONKWILER, HOMART DEVELOPMENT Shonkwiler commented that two years ago Officer Jim Philips asked him if Homart would be able to help out the D.A.R.E. Program. Shonkwiler stated that because it was an outstanding program that his son is participating in, it was his pleasure to donate a check for $500.00 from Homart to the Louisville D.A.R.E. Program. Officer Philips accepted the contribution with much gratitude and encouraged members of the community to contribute to the D.A.R.E. Program. Davidson thanked Homart Corporation for the donation and the work of our fine Police Department. APPOINTMENT OF MUNICIPAL JUDGE Sisk moved that John F. Stavely be appointed as Louisville's Municipal Judge, seconded by Howard. All in Favor. Roll call was taken. Motion passed 6-0. Judge Barrett gave the Oath of Office to John Stavely. APPOINTMENT OF COUNCILMEMBER FOR WARD III City Administrator, Annette Brand showed a chart of the Council's choices from which the Council would make their decision. The names on the chart were Michael Dotson, Larry Robert Hedding, Eugene Michael Morris, Diana Norris, and Wayne Varra. Davidson opened nominations. Mayer nominated Michael Dotson, seconded by Hornbostel. Lathrop nominated Larry Robert Hedding, seconded by Sisk. Davidson nominated Diana Norris, seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. Mayor Davidson stated that no candidate had received the required number of four votes and asked if anyone wished to change their vote or have discussion or comments on the candidates. 2
