Motion passed <br />by a 7-0 vote. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - REQUEST FROM FLOYD OLSON REGARDING CITY <br />PURCHASE OF OLSON SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />Franklin explained, that Mr. Olson wishes to offer the Olson <br />Subdivision for sale to the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Clyde Olson, 1305 Pine Avenue, Loveland, CO. <br /> <br />Olson: I was wondering if the City was <br /> interested in purchasing my land for <br /> open space. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or questions. <br /> <br />Howard: Staff, is this property in the flood <br /> plain? <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Director of Public Works, stated that the property is <br />affected by a portion of the flood plain, which is not regulated. <br />A development would be allowed in that zone at this time. <br /> <br />Howard: <br /> <br />Franklin: <br /> <br />Is the five acre parcel on the east <br />side of the railroad tracks the only <br />parcel included in this request? <br /> <br />Correct.
