the Resolution is to establish a
Public Hearing for June 2, 1992.
The decision of whether or not to
annex the property would still be an
open question to be decided at a
later time.

Davidson asked that the record show that Councilman Sisk arrived.

Mayer:

I think Council needs to take a hard
look at the current land
dedications, especially with respect
to residential. Council needs to
make sure that Louisville is getting
sufficient land dedications to meet
the needs for parks and schools that
the residential development
requires. As long as this doesn't
preclude Council from changing
current annexation procedures, I
wouldn't be opposed to putting this
out for a Public Hearing. With this
letter that Paul Wood, Planner for
the City of Louisville, got from the
Boulder Valley Schools saying they
have no idea where the students
could go. (See attached letters.
Mayer read one which referred to the
other.)

Sisk:

I think Council is being derelict in
their duties to continue to have a
growth surge in Louisville and not
have the needs for children and
residents, who will be utilizing
Louisville's schools, met. The
issue is that Louisville doesn't
have schools for the students that
are coming into the Louisville
community. This issue needs to be
addressed by Council.

Mayer:

I have a question for Mr. Fraker.

Jim Fraker, 28892 Road 9, Elizabeth, CO.

Mayer:

Mr. Fraker, I noticed that there was
no open space dedication. John
Franklin told me that the intention
of the applicant was to explore
"cash in lieu of". Is that correct?

4
