abate mining or drilling as described in section 8.24.010. <br />Sec. 8.52.030. Penalty. <br />Any person who violates the terms of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation hereof <br />and shall be subject to the penalty as provided in section 1 28.010 of this Code <br />Sec. 8.56.080. Enforcement. <br />E. Any person convicted of violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon <br />conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $300 00 for each separate offense, and <br />may be enjoined from any further or continued violation thereof. In determining the sentence <br />to be imposed, the judge shall consider the frequency and duration of the violation, the size <br />of the establishment, whether it was knowing or not, and other relevant factors. Each day any <br />violation of this chapter shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. <br />Sec. 9.22.120. Violation; penalty. <br />Any person who violates any provision of this chapter, upon conviction, shall be <br />fined not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned not more than one year. <br />Sec. 9.34.040. Operation of construction equipment. <br />D. Any violation of the time limitation set out in a building permit shall be subject to <br />stop orders and other remedies provided in the city building code in effect at the time. In <br />addition, any person who violates any such time limitation may be punished by a fine of not <br />more than $1,000.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed one year or by both such fine and <br />imprisonment. Each day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of this <br />section is committed, continued, or permitted by any such person shall be a separate offense. <br />Sec. 9.60.010. Failure to return Library material. <br />It is unlawful for any person to fail to return any book, newspaper, magazine, <br />pamphlet, photograph or any other items or material belonging to the public library of the <br />city within 30 days after receipt of a written overdue notice requesting the return of the item <br />or items. Violators of this section shall be subject to a fine not to exceed the replacement cost <br />of the material not returned. <br />Sec. 9.92.060. Violation; penalty. <br />A. Any person who violates section 9.92.020 shall be subject to the penalty provided <br />in section 1.28.010. <br />
