Howard:

If this piece of property were
leased, would those proceeds go to
the Fire Protection District?

Annette Brand, City Administrator, stated the proceeds would go to
the Fire Protection District.

Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, inquired of Bruce Joss if he was
looking solely at release of the "reverter" or would he be willing
to look at some other options if, Council could devise something
that wouldn't entirely release the "reverter".

Joss:

We would be happy to look at the
options. In thinking more about the
purpose of the "reverter", my
recollection is that there were
discussions of "Gee, we've got the
"reverter", we don't want the Fire
District to get three acres of
property and the next thing we know,
have a 7-11 popping up on the west
end of it with the Fire District
making a whole bunch of money." The
District appreciates that position.
We would be willing to continue
those kinds of restrictions, because
we do not feel it's an appropriate
use of that land either.

Davidson called for Council comments or questions.

NONE

Brand asked Council if they would like staff to look at some
options in working with the Fire District and bring it back to
Council at the next meeting or as soon as possible.

Howard stated "so moved". Seconded by Mayer. Seeing no
objections, Davidson declared the motion passed to direct staff to
come back with options.

PRESENTATION OF 1991 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS - COUNCIL ACCEPTANCE OF
1991 AUDIT

Kim Higgins, Engagement Partner responsible for the City of
Louisville's Financial Statement Audit. She presented the Audit
Report to Council (a copy of which was included in each Council
Packet and is on file in Central File) and answered questions from
Council (TAPE AVAILABLE).

Davidson called for Council comments or questions.

7
