Louisville City Council Meeting <br />June 17, 2003 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br />Davidson voiced his belief it is a concept plan subject to change. <br /> <br />Levihn stated the City purchased the property for development of municipal facilities and <br />the plan is a concept for the future. <br /> <br />Williams noted the 2004 Capital Improvement budget includes the design phase for the <br />parking lot of the Arboretum and the Skate Park. <br /> <br />MOTION: Keany moved that Council approve Resolution No. 16, Series 2003, <br />seconded by Van Pelt. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1422, SERIES 2003 - AN ORDINANCE RECOMMENDING <br />MODIFICATIONS TO THE LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS IN THE <br />COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT DESIGN STANDARDS & GUIDELINES <br />(CDDSG) - 1st reading - set public hearing 7/15/03 <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council send Ordinance No. 1422, Series 2003 out for <br />publication, and set a public hearing for July 15, 2003, seconded by Levihn. All in favor. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> <br />Mayor Davidson requested the City Council convene an executive session for the purpose <br />of an annual evaluation of City Manager and requested the City Attorney also attend the <br />session. <br /> <br />City Clerk Nancy Varra read Section No.2.90.050 - Public Statement, of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, which governs the topics that can be discussed in executive session. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light stated the state statutes provide for executive session for <br />personnel issues, and a performance evaluation is an appropriate topic for an executive <br />session. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council go into executive session to discuss the annual <br />evaluation of the City Manager, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />Council went into executive session at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS RECONVENED <br /> <br />Davidson called the meeting back to order at 8:40 p.m., and reported the executive <br />session pertained to the performance evaluation of the City Manager for the last 18- <br />months.
