Davidson:
Mandrich:

do this agreement, what happens to
that agreement that we just
negotiated? We would be providing
water to old town Superior.

We're not providing any water.

You're providing treatment. We have
to provide the water, plus we have
to give an additional 5% for any
losses in the system. Louisville is
building a plant that has filters.
Your filters will be sitting there
idle, or you can put Superior water
onto the filters, treat it, which
will cost us say $.42.5, which will
pay for all of your costs of
treating that water, plus probably
some profit. Then, we'll give you
another $75,000.00 per year to
reserve that capacity. If eight
years is too long and you want to
knock off a couple of years, I'm not
opposed to that.

Mayer:

I would prefer that we get more
public comment.

Davidson:

The word "default" in the agreement
bothers me. This is not a decision
that should be rushed into.

Lathrop moved that Council set this item out for Public Hearing at
a date certain, to be determined by the City Administrator.
Seconded by Howard. All in favor.

Mayer moved that Council adjourn.
favor.

Seconded by Howard.

Ail in

ATTEST:

Maj~ K~mpe~, City ~lerk

Tom Davidson, Mayor

19
