5) That the variance, if granted, will not alter the essential <br />character of the neighborhood or district in which the property <br />is located, nor substantially or permanently impair the <br />appropriate use or development of adjacent property. <br />Response: Adding of the House extension and the detached <br />double garage will not alter the character of the neighborhood <br />or impair any development of adjacent property as these <br />upgrades to the property are inside a 6' privacy fence and are in <br />line with other structures along South Boulder Road. <br />6) That the variance, if granted, is a minimum variance that will <br />afford relief and is the least modification possible of the <br />provisions of this title (Louisville zoning code) which are in <br />question. <br />Response: The variance requested based on the Site Plan for <br />the extension of the House and the detached double garage, are <br />at the minimum variance to the setback. <br />
