education. He stated that we have debt that must be paid in a <br />timely fashion, which is pushing the growth. He supported the <br />Mayor in tabling this issue. <br /> <br />Sisk was not optimistic that in 13 days any changes would be made. <br />As far as the school issue, he felt there wouldn't be a resolution <br />to satisfy him in 13 days either. He felt a compromise would take <br />much longer than the 13 days suggested. He wanted to see this <br />matter continued for a period longer than 13 days possibly into <br />September. ' <br /> <br />Lathrop spoke of his interest in the quality of Louisville, but <br />felt that someone on Council should speak for the developers. He <br />stated that we all have rights and some obligations to our <br />community. He agreed with Mr. Sisk concerning the 13 days. The <br />project needs a lot of work. <br /> <br />Davidson asked the developer if he would agree to a continuance to <br />September 1. <br /> <br />Wall: <br /> <br />I suppose. <br /> <br />Davidson amended his motion to continue the Public Hearing until <br />September 1, 1992. Seconder, Howard, accepted that. Roll call was <br />taken. Motion passed by a 5-0 vote. <br /> <br />Sisk: <br /> <br />Since the matter is being continued, <br />does that mean that no further <br />publication will take place? <br /> <br />Griffiths: <br /> <br />No further publication <br />required.
