Mary Colacci Guyer — pizzelle iron of Mary Colacci's and photos and documents <br />relating to Colacci's Restaurant, the Blue Parrot, the Colacci family, and Louisville <br />5. David Ferguson — 1889 marriage certificate of his grandparents <br />6. Leo Deborski — items relating to Louisville, including warranty deeds, other <br />documents, 1948 football program, and 1955-56 telephone directory <br />B. Advice sought on donations of other artifacts being offered: No advice sought. <br />C. Additional updates: Bridget reported that there is a program in Colorado whereby <br />the public votes to selects Colorado's most significant artifacts, the Museum staff <br />nominated the Rex Theater curtain, and the curtain was chosen as one of the 15 <br />finalists to be voted on. The Singing Cook is selling coffee mugs with images of the <br />Historical Museum on them and the store is donating 15% of the proceeds of sales <br />to the Louisville History Foundation. The upcoming First Friday Art Walk topic at <br />the Museum will be about saloons, beer, and prohibition. For the upcoming Parade <br />of Lights, the Museum will be doing a program about past Christmases in Louisville <br />and will bring back the tradition of giving out treat bags. Bridget and Paula reported <br />that they attended the City's legal review committee meeting on the discussion of <br />the desire for the City's boards and commissions to separate their 501C3s to a <br />foundation not connected to the City, which is a process that the Commission and <br />Foundation already went through. <br />D. Museum Open House during Parade of Lights - Commission signups to chat with <br />visitors at the Museum 4-6 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday, Dec. 2nd: Paula, Gordon, and <br />Betty volunteered to help visitors at the Museum during the Parade of Lights. <br />VII. Updates on recent developments relating to Museum campus plans and funding: <br />A. City Council Study Session regarding the Museum Master Plan (Sept. 13, 2016): <br />The Commission's study session with City Council on the subject of the Museum <br />Master Plan went well. The Plan received positive feedback and no revisions were <br />requested. Bridget stated that the Master Plan is being reformatted for when it is <br />submitted to City Council for final approval. <br />B. Joint meeting with the Historic Preservation Commission (Sept. 28, 2016): <br />The joint meeting with the HPC was reviewed. <br />C. Completion of an ALTA survey on the Museum campus: <br />The survey of the property on which the Museum buildings are located was <br />completed and presented to the Commission. <br />D. Status report on Historic Structure Assessments to be completed on the Museum <br />buildings: <br />
