CaII to Order- Helen called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />IL Roll Call - <br />Board Members Present: Helen Moshak, Laura Scott Denton, Linda Smith, Missy <br />Davis, Graeme Patterson, Jim Gibb, Fiona Garvin <br />Board Members Absent: Mike Schantz <br />City Council Members Present: Jeff Lipton <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Catherine Jepson <br />III. Approval of Agenda - <br />Linda moved to approve the agenda as written. Graeme seconded. The motion <br />was passed unanimously. <br />IV. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes - <br />Linda moved to approve the minutes as written. Fiona seconded. The motion <br />was passed unanimously. <br />V. Staff Updates - <br />A. Use of E -Bikes in the City is becoming a topic of discussion based on a <br />request form the US 36 bikeway team to allow E -bikes on the US 36 bikeway. Planning <br />will be coming to the March OSAB meeting to discuss the request. <br />B. As design for the Bullhead Gulch underpass moves forward OSAB will be <br />asked to evaluate the trail that will connect the underpass to the sidewalk. <br />C. Staff is working with Rocky Mountain Fire and Louisville Fire on developing <br />the IGA for prescribed fire on Open Space. <br />D. This Saturday (February 11th) there will be an Open Space walk with the <br />mayor at 9:00. <br />E. There will be a Study Session with the City Council to discuss the Integrated <br />Weed Management Plan on February 28th and a Study Session on March 14th to discuss <br />Acquisition the board has been invited to attend. The Boulder County Acquisition and <br />Trail request will be presented to City Council on March 21st <br />F. Teachers from Louisville Middle School are collaborating with Open Space <br />staff to develop a class room and field day to learn about open space and data <br />collection. <br />G. Youth Advisory Board will be posting temporary wayfinding signs in Open <br />Space and Parks to support walkability of the City. Signs will have destinations and walk <br />time. <br />H. There are five Open Space properties available to adopt. <br />I. On Wednesday, February 22nd, there will be a training meeting for the raptor <br />training program.
