All plant material shall be in accordance with American Association <br />of Nurserymen (AAN) specifications for number one grade. <br />2. All sod areas to be irrigated with an automatic pop-up irrigation <br />system. All shrub beds to be irrigated with an automatic drip or <br />bubbler irrigation system. <br />3. Edging between lawn areas and shrub beds to be 1/8" x 6" galvanized <br />steel set level with the top of the sod lawn , if required. <br />4. All shrub/ground cover/ flower beds shall receive a minimum of 3" <br />wood mulch or 2" cobbles over typar filter fabric. <br />5. The owner will be responsible for all landscape maintenance <br />including plantings located in the public right of way. <br />6. These drawings are intended to convey only design concepts. There is <br />no intention to convey every element of the work necessary to the <br />successful completion of the project. The owner and contractor must <br />interpret certain elements of the design to adjust to site conditions. <br />7. Landscape contractor shall be responsible for any coordination with <br />subcontractors as required to accomplish planting operations. <br />8. Plant material locations shall be coordinated with sprinkler irrigation <br />head locations to avoid conflict. <br />9. Prior to installation of plant materials, areas that have been <br />compacted or disturbed by construction activities shall be thoroughly <br />loosened. Soil shall be amended with organic matter at the rate of 3 <br />cubic yards/ 1000 s.f. <br />10.
