Howard:

would allow two (2) lots.

I'm getting two (2) signals from
you, Mr. Beaton. The first signal
is that you're really only
interested in providing for your own
wherewithal. The second signal is
that you're interested in having two
(2) lots and have had discussions
with the adjacent property owner to
help ensure that you're going to
have two (2) lots. If the true
intent is to tie together these two
(2) lots into a larger subdivision
that could perhaps carry through
from the RE to the north of your
property and, perhaps, the property
to the south of you. That's a
little different from your original
assertion.. What is it that you
really want?

Beaton:

We've got this small parcel, which
is critical to the development of
that area. We plan to build one (1)
house there and it appears that RE
zoning is appropriate. Therefore,
if there is enough square footage
after working out the easement issue
to allow us two (2) lots, we would
like to go ahead and get zoned for
two (2) lots. We would agree to
only build one (1) house within
three (3) or four (4) years, because
of school crowding issues or
whatever. In order to get access to
the property to the north, which is
within the'City, we have to address
the road ~ . We'
· ssue re trying to
work out something that is not
"piece meal", which allows us to
proceed with RE zoning for this
property and addresses road, water,
sewer, and whatever else would be
necessary to develop our parcel.

Hornbostel:

How many acres are in the Boulder
County parcel?

Franklin:

I think it is 30 acres.

Hornbostel:

So, in an RE zoning and 30 acres,
