Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:32pm by Mary Ann Heaney. <br />Allison Johanson took meeting notes until the arrival of Mark Persichetti. <br />a. Roll Call: (Members present in bold): Jamie Bartlett, Dan Delahunty, Allison <br />Johanson, Mary Ann Heaney, Marianne Martin (6:50pm), Mark Persichetti (6:38pm), <br />Justine Vigil -Tapia; City -Staff Liaison Dave Szabados, City -Council Liaison Jay Keany; <br />Residents R J Harrington (interested in Partners -in -Energy program), Laura Levesque <br />(interested in implementation of the SAP), & Jessie (don't have her last name). <br />b. Approval of Current Meeting's Agenda: Approved, with Item II to be delayed until <br />arrival of Robert Zuccaro, Planning Director, and Item III to follow Items IV and V, to allow <br />sufficient time for them first. <br />c. Approval of January 18, 2017 Meeting Minutes: Meeting -minutes approved. <br />d. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Mark passed along two items <br />from Lea Yancey, with Boulder -County's Sustainability Office: 1. The County's Energy - <br />Smart program is now offering Electric -Vehicles advice. Our residents can now contact <br />EnergySmart, and their advisor can answer questions about buying/leasing an Electric <br />Vehicle, and learning how E -V charging works. 2. Lea and a rep from the County's <br />Transportation Dept will be meeting with Rob Zuccaro this month, to discuss collaboration <br />on a sustainable -transportation project for this year — specifically, installation of bike racks <br />at various employer locations here in Louisville. <br />e. Jay's Minute: Council continues to go 'round -and -round' on the McCaslin Small <br />Area Plan: should West side of development have residential, transit -oriented develop- <br />ment (TOD)? Approving TOD/residential development could suggest homes are more <br />important than business. Suggested potential discussion as to what is the most sustain- <br />able approach for city to take. <br />f. Dave's Minute: Dave noted the City's application for a Boulder -County Sustainability <br />Grant is for $15-K to fund a temporary Sustainability Consultant to City Staff, plus $3.75-K <br />matching City funding. The Consultant will focus on implementing provisions of our new <br />Sustainability Action Plan.
