Board of Adjustment
Meeting Minutes
March 15, 2017
Page 4of4
Williams thinks that all the criteria have been met. She needed the RL zone district comparison
to the RE zone district. She also agrees that the variance should be approved.
Levinson states that he has no comments, no questions, and no objections.
Campbell asks Staff for dimensions of the lot sizes in this zone district.
Ritchie informs Campbell of the smallest, largest, and average lot size for the zone district from
Boulder County GIS. The smallest is 4,884, the largest is 11,687, and the average is 7,463.
Campbell states he does not believe this lot is unique. The lot is not the smallest or the largest.
It is just somewhere in the middle.
DeJong mentions that unique is not only about the square footage of the lot, but also the lot's
pie shape. He thinks it is unique because of the lot's pie shape.
Campbell replies that the lot is pie shape, but the other Tots around it are also pie shaped. So
this lot is not unique because of its shape.
Motion made by Stuart to approve 108 Lois Drive, a variance from Section 17.12.040 of the
Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) to allow an increase in the maximum lot coverage from 20% to
23% to allow additions to the single family home. Motion was seconded by Ewy.
