Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that this ordinance was <br />recommended by the Police Department to address the specific <br />problem regarding persons leaving unattached snow plows on City <br />streets. <br /> <br />Davidson called for anyone in the audience who wished to speak in <br />favor or against Ordinance 1087. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the Public Hearing and called for Council comments. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1087, Series 1992, <br />at 2nd reading, an ordinance prohibiting the storage or parking of <br />snowplows on public streets and rights-of-way. Seconded by <br />Hornbostel. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 5-0 vote with <br />Lathrop and Sisk being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 63, SERIES 1992 - FINAL PUD DEVELOPWRNT PLAN - <br />EXPANSION OF CENTURY 21 OFFICE AT 932 MAIN STREET <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the building is zoned <br />commercial. If authorized, the final PUD development plan would <br />permit the applicant to commence an expansion of the existing <br />commercial structure. On October 13, 1992, the Planning Commission <br />held a Public Hearing and at that time approved Resolution No. 28, <br />Series 1992, with conditions of approval. He stated that those <br />conditions have been met by the revised final PUD development plan <br />dated October 15, 1992. <br /> <br />Rick Richardson, applicant, 714 Cleveland, Louisville, CO, <br />explained that they wanted to do some renovation to some of the old <br />buildings on Main Street beginning with 932 Main Street, which they <br />have renovated and are ready to expand. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or questions. <br /> <br />Mayer was concerned about the sign that will be lit until 9:00 p.m. <br />on weekday nights and 10:00 p.m. weekend nights, since there are <br />residential neighbors on either side. <br /> <br />Richardson stated that they are friends with the neighbors and they <br />are very aware of what is being done with the sign. The sign is <br />low profile, 3'x 5', with a black background, so you only see the <br />letters.
