favor or against Ordinance 1086.

NONE

Davidson closed the Public Hearing and called for Council comments
or questions.

Howard:

Historical vehicles are not
considered for any kind of
exception and I would hate to have
historical vehicles be illegal.
Sometimes there is not enough room
to store the total historical in a
garage area. What I would like to
see is some mechanism, where you
could force them to have a cover
over it and some kind of license
from the City that says that this is
an historical vehicle in progress,
so people could work on it over
time.

Griffiths:

On paragraph C, page 2, there was a
revision made to it to permit the
outdoor parking of not more than one
inoperable vehicle per lot, if it is
entirely covered with a one piece
opaque heavy tarp or commercial car
cover that's securely fastened at
all times.

Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance 1086, Series 1992, at
the 2nd Hearing, which is the ordinance regulating the dismantled
or inoperative vehicles. Seconded by Howard.

Griffiths:

Is that with the amendment that was
proposed at the suggestion of
Councilman Sisk?

Mayer stated that it was with Councilman Sisk's amendment.
Seconder, Howard, accepted that. Roll was taken. Motion passed by
a 5-0 vote with Lathrop and Sisk being absent.

ORDINANCE NO. 1087, SERIES 1992 - PROHIBITING THE STORAGE OR
PARKING OF SNOWPLOWS ON PUBLIC STREETS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY - 2ND
READING -PUBLIC HEARING (PUBLISHED LSVL.
