Mayer wanted to see a general spending plan for the City and how all of these projects will impact that, what elections the City will have to hold. He stated that the City will have to see what the overall implications are, so that the City can fit its general spending within this every year. Howard: If Superior does not take their full 4.8 C.F.S., would that significantly impact the alignment of this pipeline? If it does, our costs would go much higher, even without us needing to take additional capacity. Phare: Lathrop: Davidson: Phare: That's correct. The District is under the impression that if Superior doesn't go to that, then we will not be in the project. I don't see the problem with taking the additional time to consider all of the ramifications of Amendment No. 1, including this. What, specifically, does the District want from us tonight? They wanted a reading that the Tabor Amendment is not going to preclude us. They know it may, as we work through the process. It may mean secondary or third level impacts to us. They understand that. All they want to know is that we're not definitely looking for a way to get out. That we're still interested and want to find a way to work through this and if we can obtain and develop an adequate financing plan that doesn't impact us negatively, that we would go ahead with the project. Also, that the 3 C.F.S. vs. the 2.5 with that alignment moving easterly by 1/2 mile is still not reason for us to withdraw from the project. Davidson: So, they want a resolution to that 14
