Phare:

Davidson:

Phare:

Davidson:

Sisk:

effect?

I not sure that a resolution is
really necessary. They would like
for me to represent honestly and
straight forward that we're still
interested. We can live with
alignment modifications, we can live
with the 3 C.F.S., and we'll all
have to work together through the
Tabor Amendment issues. But, they
understand that if something doesn't
work, that Louisville can step back
from the project and that we would
not expend any significant funds,
i.e. nothing over the $10,000.00
currently committed, until we're
over some of those hurdles or have a
light at the end of the tunnel
regarding those issues.

Does the alignment modification
reduce the cost of the pipeline that
we're going to have to build to our
raw water treatment plant?

No. It's cost neutral, because they
moved the main pipeline east. They
added a 1/2 mile of our connecting
pipeline from the main pipeline to
Louisville and Superior. They added
our share of that cost back in. The
termination point for that pipeline
for their cost estimates is the
northeast portion of town by
Kmart/Waneka.

If Louisville is going to have a
reliable source of water in a dry
year, and if Louisville is going to
reach its projected size, then there
is really no choice but to go
forward with the Northern Colorado
District. The other choices would
be very expensive for the citizens
of Louisville.

It seems to me, in the letter that
we received from Mr. Dreher, the
$10,000.00 commitment was at least
interpreted that we would pay them,
if the Northern Colorado Water

15
