Ms. Hayden said that overall
the Louisville survey statistics were higher than the national and Front
Range statistics.
· Character of Community - Ms. Hayden said that the survey again
indicated that the city had maintained or improved since the last survey
and was above the national and Front Range median with the exception
of shopping, which was lower.
· Policy Topics - Ms. Hayden said that in this area it was important to look
at the strong support vs. the somewhat support to better understand what
policies the citizens are indicating as priority policies.

.

City Manager Malcolm Fleming stated that after reviewing the Highway 42
question he was concerned that it might be interpreted as being more general or
citywide instead of specific to the Highway 42 project. City Manager Fleming
asked Ms. Hayden if she agreed. Ms. Hayden said it might be and that it might
be a possible focus group topic in the future.

Councilor Ron Sackett asked if the Potential Projects were supposed to be
specific to Highway 42. Ms. Hayden said they were not but were more general
city-wide projects.

Ms. Hayden said that the survey was a good indication that the City was doing
well.

The Mayor and Council thanked Ms. Hayden for her work on the survey, as well
as, City Manager Fleming and Assistant City Manager Balser.

3. Update - Fees for Citizen Fingerprinting
Police Chief Bruce Goodman said that this was an informational item to make
Council aware of the fee change.

Mayor Sisk asked how residents would be informed of the changes. Police Chief
Goodman said that it is posted at the Police Station and that Thornton
maintained a website that showed different charges around the region. Mayor
Sisk suggested that it be included in the newsletter.

Mayor Sisk asked if there were certain times/days for fingerprinting. Police Chief
Goodman said that there were and that they had been recently changed.

Assistant City Manager Balser said that they would include the charges, days
and times in the next newsletter and that it would be posted on the website.

4. Discussion - State Highway 42 and South Boulder Road Intersection
Project
David Thompson, Senior Civil Engineer, gave a PowerPoint presentation.
