NOVEMBER 25, 1992 <br /> <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br /> SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />The City council of the City of Louisville met in Special session <br />in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. <br />Mayor Davidson called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. and the <br />following persons were present. <br /> <br />Council Members: <br /> <br />Kevin Howard, Rob Lathrop, Chuck <br />Sisk, Tom Mayer, Larry Hedding <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Annette Brand, City Administrator <br />Tom Phare, Dir. Public Works <br />Steve Baysinger, Dir. Parks & Rec. <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, Dir. Finance <br />Chris Miller, Staff Research Anal. <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilwoman Margaret Hornbostel <br />(excused) <br />Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk (excused) <br />Bill Hesson, City Treasurer <br />(excused) <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for any changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />Davidson added No. 9, Discussion on Growth. <br /> <br />Davidson called for any other changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />NO}~E <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council approve the Agenda as amended. <br />Seconded by Howard. Seeing no objections to the motion, Davidson <br />declared the motion passed. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />BID AWARD FOR PARCEL "R" DETENTION AND TRAIL FACILITY <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Director of Public Works, stated that Parcel "R" is the <br />land immediately west of Lafayette Street, as it dead-ends west of <br />Via Appia. Of the bids received, Concrete Express, Inc.'s bid of <br />$121,447.00 was the lowest. Phare was asking for award of this <br />project in order to complete all drainage activities in Parcel "R", <br />as well as the soft surface trail. He pointed out that there is <br />still some work left to be done, which would be done in house to <br />fully complete the wetland mitigation, which would be planning some <br />of the Wetlands plant materials next spring. <br /> <br /> <br />
