Call to Order: 7:06 pm. In attendance are Board Members Ellen Toon, Mark Newland, <br />Shelly Alm, Keaton Howe, Billy O'Donnell, Diana Gutowski, Dave Clabots, City Counselwoman <br />Susan Loo, Staff Liason Dean Johnson, Administrate Assistant Dru Tieben, and Allan Gill, <br />Parks Project Manager. <br />II. Approval of Agenda: Motion to approve by Mark Newland and second motion to pass by <br />Billy O'Donnell <br />III. Approval of Minutes: Change requested to reflect that Billy O'Donnell was in attendance <br />during last month's PPLAB meeting. <br />IV. Staff Updates: Dean reported the Centennial Court renovation will be completed <br />between May and June and that mulch day was completed. <br />V. Board Updates: Susan Loo reported that a new city manager position is being advertised <br />for. Heather Balser was appointed interim City Manager. The City Council budget is under <br />discussion. City Boards may be under discussions to consolidate positions. A complete set of <br />comprehensive master plan and parks binders are to be requested from previous board <br />members K. English Hopkins and Michael Frontczak. These should be distributed to new <br />Board Members. Ellen Toon requests Mulch Day be moved to a different spring date and <br />time. The date this year was the day before Easter and shortly before tax day, April 18. <br />Friends of the Arboretum have donated a sculpture that will soon be placed in the Louisville <br />Arboretum. Blue die has been noticed on Open Space areas. This is a noxious weed spray that <br />has had blue die added. Flags noticed in Open Space areas are being used to mark noxious <br />weed research. <br />VI. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda.
