Planning Commission
Meeting Minutes
May 11, 2017
Kipfer says in terms of the units, we are not changing the unit density. It is an elevation change.
In terms of parking spaces provided, my understanding is that it stays the same. I would need to
look at the previous plan to verify it, but we did not take away parking. Where we had carports,
some became garages.
Summary and request by Staff and Applicant:
Staff recommends approval with the condition.
Closed Public Hearing and discussion by Commission:
Rice says there are essentially three things being requested. They want an elevation change.
What they are proposing now is consistent with what is being built in other parts of the project.
With regard to the garage structures, this is a quality improvement to me. With regard to
vacating the maintenance easement, I understand the City Engineer says this small adjustment
or loss of easement is fine with him. I support the request.
O'Connell says I am in support. It seems appropriate as well as the condition.
Brauneis in support. Moline in support. Hsu in support. Sheets in support.
Motion made by Rice to approve North End, Blockl0 PUD -3'd Amendment, Resolution No.
09, Series 2017.
