Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />June 12, 2017 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />come before LRC is that it did not trigger the review requirements in the South Street <br />IGA. <br />Chair Fisher, Commissioner Menaker, DeJong and Parks and Recreation Director Joe <br />Stevens met informally to discuss. If money is an issue, LRC may be able to provide it. <br />Stevens said Parks does not need the funding from LRC. <br />LRC would have liked to have had some discussion about it. Mayor would like to know <br />what the concerns are from PPLAB. <br />LRC Assistance in City Projects <br />What projects are in Urban Renewal that LRC can assist with? Public Works Director <br />Kurt Kowar will update City Council on what projects are in Urban Renewal that LRC can <br />assist with. Deputy City Manager Balser said it may be a good topic for a future joint <br />meeting. <br />Parking Analysis Discussion scheduled for July 5, 2017 <br />Council will review the RFP. DeJong would like as many LRC members there as <br />possible. <br />Short Street Signal at Highway 42 <br />Staff may need to have discussion with CDOT. <br />Related to the storm drainage work in the area, there will be a trail extension to Short <br />Street. Per Malcolm that should be part of trail connection plan. Short Street will be the <br />formal crossing. <br />Items for Next Meeting July 10, 2017 <br />550 S. McCaslin Discussion <br />Highway 42 Improvement Discussion <br />Tour of DELO will be in August <br />Coal Creek station? <br />Commissioner Comments: <br />Commissioner Menaker said that last Thursday Planning Commission approved <br />Clementine Subdivision — 42 units. Should positively impact the Urban Renewal area. <br />Commissioner Tofte would like to know when Public Works Director will present projects <br />in Urban Renewal area to Council. <br />Commissioner Menaker would like a proactive discussion of long range planning and <br />budget, one to five year. Valuations come in August and DeJong will provide after that. <br />In the proactive discussions about future projects, Commissioners would like to have a <br />map to view during the discussion. <br />Adjourn — The meeting adjourned at 8:34 am <br />5 <br />
